AityTech (AI Typhoon Tech) is an indie 個人事業主 (Kojin Jigyou Nushi — sole-proprietorship) studio based in Japan, founded in 2022. The "AI Typhoon" comes from a decade spent on the manufacturing floor — making excavator parts for Hitachi, Sumitomo, Komatsu, and Mitsubishi — combined with modern AI and software development. The studio ships factory digital-transformation tools, AI visual-inspection systems, and consumer-facing apps.

StudyKits is the consumer line: native iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and Android apps for cloud and project-management certifications. It started after preparing for AWS certifications first-hand and finding that every existing study app either recycled leaked exam content (against the policy of every cert body), buried the learning under banner ads, or charged a recurring SaaS fee that punished slow studying. StudyKits is the response — original questions organised by each vendor's published exam domains, one-time IAP pricing per cert, fully offline, with FSRS spaced repetition instead of question-dump memorisation.

Each StudyKits app is organised by the exam domains of the issuing body's published exam guide, never scraped from forums. Questions are written from scratch and tagged by domain. When a vendor revises its exam, an app can lag behind: some apps still follow the previous exam outline while an update is in progress, and each app page says so. All 16 apps are on the App Store (iPhone, iPad, Mac) and Google Play (Android), built for people who value privacy, offline access, and one-time purchase pricing.

I studied for the AWS certifications myself and bounced between apps that were either expensive subscriptions, ad-funded clones, or browser-only. None of them were a great fit for studying on the train, the way I actually study.

StudyKits is an attempt at the simplest possible answer: native apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Android with original questions organised by each vendor’s exam domains, fair pricing, and no tracking. Some apps still follow the previous exam outline while an update is in progress; each app page says which. Each certification is its own app. You pay once for the full bank (the App Store or Google Play shows the price), or use the free tier for as long as you like.
